Pakistan government bans Pakistan Cricket Board

According to reports, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PC has been prohibited by the government of Pakistan from selling the rights to the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and foreign media for a period of two years. This directive was released by the Cricket Managing Committee to kick off the bidding process for these rights.The PCB received a notice from the government's Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination (sports) mandating that they obtain approval from the government prior to concluding any big transactions. The PCB's plans have been thrown off, and they are now unable to announce the schedule for the upcoming ninth PSL edition.
