India defeats Australia to reach the ICC Champions Trophy final, led by Virat Kohli`s stellar performance.

India has secured its place in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final after a thrilling four-wicket victory against Australia at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Chasing a target of 265 runs, India showcased their batting prowess with Virat Kohli leading the charge, scoring a vital 84 runs. KL Rahul also played a significant role, remaining unbeaten on 42 as India successfully crossed the finish line.

This victory marks India`s fifth entry into the Champions Trophy final, underscoring their dominance in the tournament. The match not only determined the first finalist but also confirmed Dubai as the venue for the final, given India`s participation. Coach Gautam Gambhir addressed concerns regarding the team`s advantage from playing in Dubai, asserting that the squad had not practiced at the venue, making it neutral ground for them.

India will face either South Africa or New Zealand in the final on Sunday. Meanwhile, former cricketer Harbhajan Singh took a jab at Pakistan, highlighting their early exit from the tournament and the fact that the final would not be held in Pakistan due to India`s involvement and the subsequent venue change to Dubai.
