Charli Knott leads Queensland in the WNCL final, aiming for victory after a stellar season.

Charli Knott is set to play a pivotal role in the Women’s National Cricket League (WNCL) final as Queensland faces New South Wales at Allan Border Field. The 22-year-old allrounder has had a breakout season, finishing fourth on the runs table with 542 runs at an impressive average of 54.2. Her standout performance includes a match-winning century of 110 against South Australia, alongside several other significant contributions.

Knott`s all-round capabilities have shone through, as she also claimed 12 wickets at an average of 28.66, marking her strongest season yet in the domestic one-day tournament. Her determination is fueled by Queensland`s recent near-misses, including a runner-up finish to Tasmania and back-to-back defeats in the WBBL finals.

With aspirations to represent Australia A in upcoming series against England A, Knott`s focus remains on lifting the Ruth Preddy Cup for Queensland. Following her successful stint with the Southern Vipers in England, she is also set to join Hampshire in the ECB’s new women’s county white-ball competitions.
