India`s victory in the Champions Trophy featured Shubman Gill`s century and Mohammed Shami`s five wickets against Bangladesh.

Bangladesh, after opting to bat first, struggled early on, collapsing to 5-35. However, a resilient sixth-wicket partnership between Towhid Hridoy and Jaker Ali, who added 154 runs, helped them reach a total of 228 all out. Mohammed Shami was instrumental with the ball for India, claiming a remarkable five-wicket haul.

In addition to Gill`s century, KL Rahul contributed an unbeaten 41 runs, while Rohit Sharma crossed the significant milestone of 11,000 ODI runs during the match. India comfortably chased the target with 21 balls to spare, reinforcing their status as a formidable team in international cricket.
