England mourns the passing of one of its managers, Sven-Göran Eriksson
Sven-Göran Eriksson passed away on Monday at the age of 76 due to illness. The Swede, who was the first foreign-born manager to lead the Three Lions, had announced earlier this year that he was battling terminal cancer and had a maximum of one year to live. Eriksson managed the England national team from 2001 to 2006, leading them to the quarterfinals of the 2006 World Cup in Germany. After a brief stint as Manchester City manager, he held various football director roles around the world. #london,#svengöran,#threelion
