Cape Town City head coach Eric Tinkler has insisted his side are not contenders for the DStv Premiership title despite going top of the log on Sunday.

"The league belongs to Mamelodi Sundowns, there's no doubt about that, they're ways ahead of the rest of us," Tinkler said.
