Nigeria Withdraws from Afcon2025 Qualifier Against Libya
The Nigerian national team has opted out of their Afcon-2025 qualification match against Libya, citing "inhumane treatment" upon arrival. The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) reported that the Super Eagles have been stranded at an abandoned airport in Libya for over 15 hours since their charter flight landed. The Nigerian embassy is unable to intervene without Libyan government approval. The NFF has formally complained to the Confederation of African Football (CAF). #nigeria,#afcon2025,#supereagles
