Cameroon overtakes Gambia at the Afcon 2024

Cameroon beat Gambia (3-2) in a wild end to the match and qualified for the round of 16 of the African Cup on Tuesday in Bouaké. The “Indomitable Lions” with the same number of points (4) and the same goal difference as Guinea (-1) finished second in the number of goals scored (5 against 2). Gambia is eliminated. Karl Toko-Ekambi (56), James Gomez own goal (87 csc), and Christopher Wooh (90+1) scored for Cameroon, against goals from Ablie Jallow (72) and Ebrima Colley (85) for Gambia.
