Alonso happy with Leverkusen’s point away

After a resolute defensive performance in Saturday's 1-1 Bundesliga draw at leaders Bayern Munich, when his defense was only broken by an incredible goal, Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso expressed his pride in his team.
Aleksandar Pavlovic of Bayern tied the score with a spectacular half-volley from 25 meters out that beat goalie Lukas Hradecky to move the visitors to third in the standings after Robert Andrich gave Leverkusen the lead.
