World champion Dixon to face fellow Briton Harper

The WBO lightweight world champion Rhiannon Dixon will defend her title against Terri Harper, a fellow British citizen, on Saturday, August 24 at Manchester's Co-op Live venue.

Dixon, 29, of Warrington, is going to make her first defense of the title she earned against Karen Elizabeth Carabajal in April. She has 10 professional fights under her belt.

In August's bout, Harper, 27, who is currently the WBA light-middleweight champion and a former super-featherweight champion, will look to win three weights.
