Konyegwachie represented Nigeria at the 1988 Seoul Olympics, and has made remarkable impact heading the coaching department of Nigerian Boxing. Out of the 11 boxers Nigeria entered to compete in Ghana, 10 got to their respective finals, winning 8 GOLD medals.
Four Nigerian boxers have already secured qualifications for #paris2024 , and five more will be travelling to Thailand in May to seek qualifications for the Olympic Games.
