Nebraska`s Brice Williams led a comeback win against Washington, while Rice and Memphis also secured victories in the AAC.

Several exciting matchups unfolded in the NCAAB on February 5, showcasing thrilling performances across the American Athletic Conference (AAC). Rice University secured a solid victory over East Carolina with a final score of 73-60. Caden Powell led Rice with an impressive double-double, scoring 18 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. East Carolina`s C.J. Walker put up a valiant effort, contributing 23 points, six rebounds, and two blocks in the losing effort.

In another nail-biter, Tulane narrowly defeated UTSA 61-60. Asher Woods was pivotal for Tulane, scoring 18 points, while Marcus Millender of UTSA dominated the scoreboard with 28 points, but it wasn`t enough to clinch the win. This intense battle took place in San Antonio, Texas, highlighting the competitive spirit of both teams.

Memphis showcased their strength against Tulsa, winning decisively with an 83-71 scoreline. PJ Haggerty was the standout performer for Memphis, scoring 23 points and adding two steals to his tally. Tulsa`s Tyshawn Archie also had a commendable performance, scoring 17 points and securing four steals, but ultimately fell short against a well-rounded Memphis squad.

In a significant non-conference clash, Nebraska rallied from a first-half deficit to defeat Washington 86-72. Brice Williams was instrumental in the comeback, scoring 23 points, while Juwan Gray added 17 points to the team`s total. Washington`s Mekhi Mason and Great Osobor each contributed 23 and 17 points, respectively, but Nebraska`s second-half surge, outscoring the Huskies 49-25, sealed the victory in Seattle.
