Caitlin Clark Makes More In Talk Show Than WNBA
Caitlin Clark makes more from giving a 30-minute talk than an entire year playing in the WNBA.
According to Agecroft Partners CEO Don Steinbrugge, he reached out to Caitlin Clark to see if she’d give a 30-minute virtual talk for a conference.
This was during the WNBA’s mid-season break, and Caitlin had time off after not getting selected for the Olympics.
Clark’s team revealed that her virtual speaking fee started at a whopping $100,000 for a 30-minute session.
Which would mean - if Steinbrugge's claim is true - Clark has made a minimum of $600,000 from speaking engagements alone.
Keep in mind her WNBA salary this past year was just $76,535.
She signed an 8-year, $28 million deal with Nike. She had the new Unrivaled league offering her $1 million a year to play, which Clark turned down.
And she’s building a massive brand - which is how she can charge a cool $100K for every quick speaking engagement. #wnba #basketball
