One day after signing a four-year extension, Cristopher Sánchez delivered a dominant outing, tossing seven shutout innings to lead the Phillies to a 4-1 victory over the Diamondbacks and clinch the series. Sánchez held Arizona to just three hits, striking out four while relying on an effective changeup and slider. Alec Bohm and Nick Castellanos provided the offense, with Bohm extending his NL lead in doubles and Castellanos driving in a run. The Phillies' pitching staff did not issue a walk for the second consecutive game.
