As the atmosphere crackled with anticipation, World No. 1 An Se Young from South Korea leveled the match by defeating China`s Wang Zhi Yi in the women`s singles, clinching victory with scores of 21-17, 21-16. However, the tide turned dramatically when China`s Shi Yu Qi took to the court, dominating the men’s singles against Jeon Hyeok Jin with a staggering score of 21-5, 21-5, putting China ahead 2-1.

The championship was sealed in the final match of the day, where Liu Sheng Shu and Tan Ning from China delivered a decisive performance in the women`s doubles, overcoming Korea`s Baek Ha Na and Lee So Hee with a score of 21-14, 21-17.
