China showcased its badminton prowess at the Malaysia Masters, dominating the finals with an impressive haul of four titles out of five. The Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, buzzed with excitement as fans witnessed a display of skill and determination from the Chinese players.

In the men’s singles final, Li Shifeng etched his name in history by becoming the first Chinese player to win this title since the tournament began in 2009. He delivered a masterclass against India’s Kidambi Srikanth, securing a swift victory with scores of 21-11, 21-9 in just 36 minutes. Li’s performance was nothing short of spectacular, as he did not drop a single game throughout the tournament, showcasing his exceptional power and precision.

The women’s singles final saw top seed Wang Zhiyi rally from a set down to defeat compatriot Han Yue, with a final score of 13-21, 21-13, 21-18. This match highlighted the depth of talent within the Chinese women’s badminton scene. In the mixed doubles, Feng Yanzhe and Huang Dongping triumphed over Jiang Zhenbang and Wei Yaxin in a thrilling all-Chinese showdown, while Liu Shengshu and Tan Ning secured victory in the women’s doubles against Jia Yifan and Zhang Shuxian.
