Indian shuttlers Dhruv Kapila and Tanisha Crasto showcased their skills by advancing to the pre-quarterfinals in mixed doubles at the Badminton Asia Championships 2025 in China. They defeated Malaysia`s Hoo Pang Ron and Cheng Su Yin with a score of 15-21, 21-12, 21-11, demonstrating resilience and teamwork.

Another promising Indian pair, Ashith Surya and Amrutha Pramuthesh, also made their mark by progressing to the round of 16 after a convincing victory over Sri Lanka`s Thulith Palliyaguru and Panchali Adhikari, finishing with a score of 21-9, 21-11.

However, not all Indian pairs found success. Sathish Karunakaran and Aadya Variyath faced a tough challenge against Malaysia`s Goh Soon Huat and Shevon Jemie Lai, the latter being the third-ranked duo in the world.
