Kenya Mary Moraa is the World 800m Champion

The Kenyan executed her race nicely, charging past defending champion Athing Mu 🇺🇸 to win GOLD in a Personal Best (P of 1:56.03!
She becomes the first Kenyan woman to win the title since Eunice Sum did 10 years ago.

Behind her, Keely Hodgkinson 🇬🇧 came through for Silver in 1:56.34, while Athing Mu 🇺🇸 settled for Bronze in 1:56.61. #kenya #budapest2023
