In front of her audience, Sifan Hassan won the 10,000m at the Hengelo athletics meeting in the Netherlands. The Dutchwoman of Ethiopian origin completed the race in 29mn37s80. This is the new best world performance of the year over the distance. She finished ahead of the Kenyan Grace Loibach Nawowuna (29mn47s42) and the Ethiopian Tsigie Grebeselema (30mn04s45).
