The Bangladesh team is set to arrive in St. Kitts on January 14, with the first ODI scheduled for January 19. The ODI series will continue with the second match on January 21 and conclude with the third match on January 24. Following the ODI series, the teams will face off in three T20I matches on January 27, 29, and 31.
CWI Acting Chief Executive Officer Lynford Inverary expressed excitement about hosting the matches at Warner Park, emphasizing the venue's importance in West Indies cricket and its role in promoting the sport within St. Kitts and the broader Leeward Islands. CWI Director of Cricket Miles Bascombe highlighted the significance of this series, noting that a strong performance against Bangladesh is vital for the West Indies’ World Cup qualification aspirations, particularly in the ODI format.
The tour will also include dedicated practice sessions for both teams, with morning sessions scheduled from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and afternoon sessions from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM, along with some evening practice sessions from 60 PM to 90 PM. Details regarding ticket sales and broadcast information for the upcoming series will be announced in the coming weeks.
