Marie-Philip leads the list of Montreal PWHL

Marie-Philip Poulin leads the list of Montreal PWHL team's first three signings.

Marie-Philip Poulin is returning to her roots. The captain of the Canadian women's national team was unveiled as one of the initial signings for the Montreal Professional Women's Hockey League team on Thursday. Joining her are forward Laura Stacey and goalie Ann-Renée Desbiens.

General manager Danièle Sauvageau described this trio as ""exceptional"" individuals.
