رودري، فاز بجائزة الكرة الذهبية لعام 2024، بعدما تفوق على فينيسيوس، في حفل لم يحضره أي ممثل من صفوف ريال مدريد الذي اعترض على عدم فوز مهاجم ريال مدريد بالجائزة.
وقال رودري، عن فينسيوس، في حوار مع برنامج "El Larguero": "إنه أحد أفضل اللاعبين في العالم. إنه رجل ذكي ومع مرور الوقت سيدرك أنه كلما زاد تركيزه على أرض الملعب كلما أصبح أفضل".
وواصل حديثه عن البرازيلي: "لديه جوانب يجب تحسينها مثل أي شخص آخر. إنه شاب ذكي وسيكون لديه أشخاص ينصحونه جيدًا، لذا فإن وجوده في ريال مدريد أفضل. إنه نادٍ له قيم لذلك لا يمكنني قول الكثير".
وذكرت صحيفة "موندو ديبورتيفو" الإسبانية، أن تصريحات رودري عن فينيسيوس، لم تُعجب مواطنه نيمار الذي لم يتردد في الرد من خلال حسابه بموقع "إنستجرام".
وكتب مهاجم الهلال، عن فيديو تناول تصريحات رودري: "الآن أصبحت ثرثارا"، في إشارة لكثرة التصريحات من رودري عن الجائزة.
