[Cameroon] Olembe Stadium Not Ready- CAF Tell Cameroon Government

The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has written to the Cameroon Football Federation over the slow pace of work at the Olembe Stadium in Yaounde ahead of the 2021 Africa Nations Cup.

CAF says that Cameroon government told lies about the readiness of the Olembe stadium in Yaounde.

According to CAF, The reports given by Cameroon  that the stadium was set are lies, as much works still need to be done before the stadium ready for football matches.

The unreadiness of the Stadium is the major reason the World Cup qualifier between Cameroon and Malawi ( 2-0) was played behind close doors and

only 50 seats was used at the VIP section.

This means that for AFCON games to be played at the Olembe stadium next year, Cameroon Government needs to double their efforts for works to be completed.
