Northern Province FAZ Women’s League has opened with Kasama District Administrative Officer Beauty Namukoko flagging off the championship.

Provincial Chairperson Mwansa Kapyanga also witnessed the launch that was hosted at Kasama Girls ground. 

National Women Representative Colonel Priscilla Katoba was represented by Northern Province Women Representative Beauty Namwawa.

 Katoba thanked the administrators for their continuous sacrifice and passion towards the development of Football.

The 12-team league covers the entire Northern Province.

Pride Stars beat Mungwi Hotspurs 3-0 in the opening match at Kasama Girls Secondary School.
