The Liberia Football Association (LFA) and Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) have agreed to play two international friendlies in Riyadh on 27 March and 30 March.
Liberia will feature a senior team while Saudi Arabia will field an under-23 team as it prepares for the 2020 Summer Olympic Games, which will be held from 23 July to 8 August in Tokyo, Japan.
The Tokyo Games were originally due to take place from 24 July to 9 August 2020 but postponed in March 2020 as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
It will be their third appearance, having participated in Los Angeles 1984 and Atlanta 1996.
In a letter to LFA secretary-general Isaac Montgomery on 14 March, SAFF secretary-general Ibrahim S. Alkassim said the Liberian delegation should have negative Covid-19 test results not older than 48 hours (two days) before its arrival and will be quarantined for three days upon arrival in Riyadh.
