FIFA disciplinary committee has banned Samuel Eto'o, president of Cameroon's football association (FECAFOOT), from attending national team matches for a period of six(6) months.
The ban follows charges stemming from an incident at the U-20 Women's World Cup in Colombia on September 11.
FIFA accused Eto'o, who served as president of the Cameroon Football Federation since 2021, of "offensive behavior" and violating "the principles of fair play" during the game. This suspension applies to all men’s and women’s matches involving Cameroon across all age categories until April 2025.
The ban was announced today September 30th and effective immediately.
