All the top stars like Marie Joseè Talou Smith , Letsile Tebogo , Favour Ofili , Rosemary Chukwuma , Shaun Maswanganyi  and Tobi Amusan  have all pulled out of the ongoing 2024 Africa Senior Athletics Championship in Douala Cameroon due to poor organization from host country Cameroon and the African Athletic Federation.

According reports, some of the facilities been used for championships are outdated and could affect  some of the athletes some participation in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. 

Fans also complained about the inability of host country and Athletics Federation to broadcast the event and have an official social media platform to update the public of the events.

The 2024 Africa Senior Athletics Championship is supposed to be a championship for qualification to the PaOlympicsmpic for Athletes who are yet to beat qualifying marks and a preparation event for those who have qualified for the Olympic Games.
