Abia Warriors, Kano Pillars, and Niger Tornadoes follow closely, all vying for better standings as the season unfolds.

Kwara United, currently in 12th place, has had a mixed season with six wins, five draws, and seven defeats in 18 games. They are looking to bolster their squad with new signings to improve their performance in the second half of the season. Their upcoming match against Enyimba on January 15 is crucial for their campaign.
