Gonzaga Bulldogs secured a solid victory against the San Diego Toreros, winning 93-80 in a West Coast Conference men’s basketball matchup. With this win, Gonzaga improved to 13-4 overall and maintained an undefeated 4-0 record in the WCC, extending their winning streak to four games.

The Bulldogs showcased a well-rounded offensive performance, with Ben Gregg leading the team with nine points. Ryan Nembhard contributed eight points along with three assists, while Nolan Hickman added five points, including a crucial layup at the buzzer to conclude the first half. Braden Huff also made an impact, fighting through contact for a 3-point play and finishing with nine points.

On the other side, San Diego's Kjay Bradley Jr. led his team with 13 points, while Bendji Pierre added 10 points, scoring 10 of his team’s 12 points during a four-minute stretch early in the game. The halftime score stood at 47-34 in favor of Gonzaga, who managed to maintain their lead despite a strong effort from San Diego. The game featured double technical fouls assessed to Ryan Nembhard and Bendji Pierre, and Kody Clouet’s 3-pointer kept San Diego within single digits at one point.

In another notable game, the No. 13 Illinois Fighting Illini demonstrated resilience by defeating the Penn State Nittany Lions 91-52, even in the absence of their injured star Kasparas Jakucionis. Forward Ben Humrichous stepped up with a game-high 21 points and nine rebounds, while Morez Johnson Jr. added a career-high 20 points and 11 rebounds. Kylan Boswell contributed with six assists and three steals, showcasing a strong team effort that allowed Illinois to nearly double the Nittany Lions' score.

Additionally, No. 10 Texas A&M Aggies pulled off a thrilling 80-78 victory against the No. 17 Oklahoma Sooners. Zhuric Phelps had a standout performance, scoring a career-high 34 points, including the decisive three-pointer with just 19.6 seconds remaining. Despite trailing by as many as 18 points in the second half, Texas A&M rallied to secure the win, with contributions from Solomon Washington and Pharrel Payne. Oklahoma's Brycen Goodine also had a remarkable night, scoring 34 points off the bench, but it was not enough to overcome the Aggies' late-game surge.
