Enyimba Aims for Top Three Finish Under Kanu`s Leadership

Enyimba International is under pressure to improve its performance in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) as the team seeks a top-three finish in the 2024/25 season. Nwankwo Kanu, the Executive Chairman and former captain of the Super Eagles, has set a clear directive for the players to achieve this goal. Currently, Enyimba finds itself in a challenging position, sitting 9th in the league standings with 24 points after 16 matches, and without a win in their last six games across all competitions.

Despite the team's struggles, there is optimism as Enyimba has three games in hand. The management is focused on securing nine points from these outstanding matches to improve their league position. Team manager Prince Okey Nwabeke has reiterated the club's ambition to either clinch the league title or secure a continental ticket by finishing in the top three, a tradition that Enyimba has upheld over the years. The players are determined to defend the Enyimba badge and work hard to turn their fortunes around.
