Freshman Tawannah McLemore emerged as a standout performer, achieving victories in both the 100-IM with a time of 58.46 and the 50-fly, where she set a new meet record with a finals time of 25.05. Additionally, she finished fourth in the 100-fly with a time of 59.30. Sophomore Diana Santamaria also had a remarkable performance, securing three top-two finishes, including a meet-record in the 50-back with a time of 26.20. She placed second in both the 50-free and 100-free events, clocking in at 24.16 and 53.18, respectively.
Freshman Frida Stretre LĆøbersli claimed victory in the 50-breaststroke finals with a time of 29.34 and earned second place in the 100-IM with a time of 58.49. Junior Ingrid Huszar took first place in the 100-breaststroke, finishing with a time of 15.22, while also securing second in the 50-breaststroke. Junior Sally Olsson followed closely, finishing second in the 100-breaststroke and third in the 50-breaststroke.
The diving team also showcased their talent during the three-day FIU Diving Invitational. Sophomore Kristina Keenan achieved a personal best in the 1-meter event preliminaries, scoring 267.75, which secured her a zone cut. She later placed second in the finals and claimed first in the platform finals with a score of 238.65, earning another zone cut. Graduate student Av Osero excelled in the 1-meter finals, winning the event with a score of 290.10 and also earning a zone cut.
The final standings of the Sprint Invite saw FIU at the top with 482 points, followed by Tulane with 389 points, Lewis University with 148.50 points, Concordia University St Paul with 66.50 points, and Assumption University with 56 points.
