Tennessee Tops Coaches Poll as Undefeated Streak Continues

As the college basketball season progresses, the latest USA TODAY Sports Men’s Basketball Coaches Poll reveals Tennessee maintaining its top spot with an impressive 12-0 record. The Volunteers, led by their unbeaten streak, garnered 764 points and 20 first-place votes, solidifying their position at the top of the rankings.

Auburn follows closely in second place with an 11-1 record, earning 747 points and 11 first-place votes. Iowa State, with a 10-1 record, holds the third spot, while Duke and Florida round out the top five with records of 10-2 and 13-0, respectively.

Other notable teams include Alabama, ranked sixth with an 11-2 record, and Kansas, sitting at seventh with a 9-2 record. Marquette and Oregon also feature in the top ten, with records of 11-2 and 12-1, respectively.

In other developments, Oklahoma moved up to tenth place with a 13-0 record, while Kentucky dropped to eleventh after a slight setback. Michigan State made a significant jump to fifteenth, and Mississippi State climbed to sixteenth.

Utah State also made a notable return to the rankings after a stellar win at San Diego State, highlighting their strong performance this season.
