Western Carolina Upsets Notre Dame, Boston College Edges Stonehill

In a thrilling weekend of college basketball, several notable matchups stood out. Western Carolina made a significant statement by knocking off Notre Dame 71-61. Vonterius Woolbright was the star of the game, scoring 22 points and grabbing 11 rebounds for his 11th career double-double. Despite a cold stretch where Western Carolina made only two of their next 15 shots, they managed to extend their lead back to double digits after Notre Dame's late surge. Russell Jones Jr. added 20 points for the Catamounts, while freshman Carey Booth led Notre Dame with 20 points off the bench.
