Langer beats his age to extend 18-year record

By winning the season-ending Charles Schwab Cup Championship by a shot below his age, Bernhard Langer extended his record of winning a championship on the PGA Tour Champions' circuit to eighteen years.
The 67-year-old defeated Richard Green and reigning champion Steven Alker by one stroke on 18 under after making a 30-foot birdie putt on the last hole to record a five-under-par 66.
It marks Langer's first victory since he tore his Achilles tendon in early 2024 and his 47th overall on the over-50s circuit.
