New Zealand keep up semi hopes with Sri Lanka win

In the midst of Sharjah's heat, New Zealand defeated Sri Lanka, who had already been eliminated, to maintain their hopes of making it to the semi-finals of the Women's T20 World Cup.
New Zealand easily chased down the mark of 116 to win in 17.3 overs, but they may regret not having the strength and attitude to do the job sooner.
After failing to accelerate swiftly enough to win by a potentially decisive margin, New Zealand's lower net run-rate still poses a threat to their ability to advance ahead of India.
