Champion Williams beaten by world number 81 Thor

In the opening round of this year's British Open at the Centaur in Cheltenham, Malaysian world number 81 Rory Thor shocked defending champion Mark Williams by winning 4-1.
Shortly before he was supposed to play Manasawin Phetmalaikul in his first-round match at the British Open on Monday, Ronnie O'Sullivan withdrew. Lewis Ullah of England took his place.
With the aid of an 85-point break in the second session, 36-year-old Thor defeated three-time world champion Williams in the first three frames.
