Iga Swiatek withdraws from China Open

Iga Swiatek, the top player in the world, announced on Friday that she had withdrew from the China Open for personal reasons. This is her fifth Grand Slam victory.
After losing to American Jessica Pegula in the U.S. Open quarterfinals and winning the French Open championship in June, Swiatek withdrew from the Canadian Open and Korea Open, citing exhaustion. Swiatek also earned a bronze medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
