Rublev fights back from two sets down

In a long and exhausting match on Wednesday at Flushing Meadows, a resilient Andrey Rublev overcame a two-set deficit to defeat Arthur Rinderknech 4-6, 5-7, 6-1, 6-2, 6-2, and advance to the third round.
Few predicted that Frenchman Rinderknech would cause problems for four-time U.S. Open quarterfinalist Rublev. The world number 56 had a 2-0 winning record against him, with one of those victories occurring in this competition the previous year.
