Marie-Josée Ta Lou Misses Medal at 2024 Olympics

Marie-Josée Ta Lou of Côte d'Ivoire was hampered by an apparent injury during the warm-up for the women's 100m final at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The injury became evident when the starting gun fired, but the Ivorian sprinter managed to complete the race, finishing last with a time of 13.84 seconds. The gold medal was won by Julien Alfred of St. Lucia in 10.72, with Sha'Carri Richardson (USA) and Melissa Jefferson (USA) taking silver and bronze respectively.
