Saudi Arabia plans 92,000-capacity stadium

Saudi Arabia, which is favored to win the right to host the 2034 World Cup, announced on Sunday that it intends to construct a 92,000-seat stadium in Riyadh that can accommodate significant international events.

According to the state news agency SPA, the Saudi sports ministry released the approved stadium design. Construction is expected to conclude in the fourth quarter of 2029.
