Paes, Amritraj formally inducted Hall of Fame

Leander Paes and Vijay Amritraj, two prominent Indian tennis players, were solemnly inducted as the 265th and 267th members of the International Tennis Hall of Fame on India Day in New England. Accompanying them was Amritraj's biographer and 200-major chronicler Richard Evans, a seasoned tennis journalist.



Many of the best players in history, like Christ Evert (18 Grand Slam champion), Martina Navratilova (her greatest adversary and friend), Andre Agassi, Stan Smith, and Rosie Casals, a founder member of the WTA, were present to welcome them to the esteemed club.
