There is no rivalry with Magnus Carlsen

The rising talent in Indian chess, R. Praggnanandhaa, dismissed speculation about a possible clash with former world champion Magnus Carlsen.



Against Carlsen, Praggnanandhaa won his first game of traditional chess at the just finished Norway Chess tournament in Stavanger. Curiously, Carlsen recounted at the tournament's end that his defeat to Praggnanandhaa was, in fact, the match he remembered the most.
