Varga stable after going off on stretcher

After being taken off on a stretcher during Sunday night's Euro 2024 encounter in midair due to a collision with Scotland goalkeeper Angus Gunn, Hungary attacker Barnabas Varga is "stable" in the hospital.

According to Hungary manager Marco Rossi, Varga will undergo surgery after suffering a fractured cheek bone,
"Varga is fine," Rossi remarked. "Unfortunately, he has a fracture and will need surgery. We'll have to wait and see. He won't be with us if we win the tournament, without a doubt."
