Davies wins sixth consecutive world shot put title

On the last day of the World Para Athletics Championships in Japan, Aled Davies of Britain won the F63 shot put championship for the sixth time in a row.

The Great Britain and Northern Ireland squad finished with a total of 12 medals, with teammate Nathan Maguire taking home bronze in the men's T54 800m.

With a throw of 15.60 meters, Davies achieved his tenth world title in his career, about one meter ahead of second-place finisher Faisal Sorour of Iran.
