Tour rebels should miss World Championship -Murphy

Shaun Murphy, a former Crucible champion, feels that players who sign up for a possible breakaway tour shouldn't be able to compete in snooker's major championships, such as the World Championship.

2019 World Snooker Tour winner Judd Trump declared on Saturday that he was "not interested one bit" in quitting the current World Snooker Tour (WST) and that he had turned down an offer to join a potential new tour.

Murphy, who took home the greatest award in the sport in 2005, stated: "Players are discussing it. No one has called me, no one has approached me, and I have no knowledge of it. It doesn't pique my attention.
