AC Milan halt match to support keeper Maignan

In the sixteenth minute of their Serie A encounter against Bologna on Saturday, AC Milan momentarily stopped play to demonstrate solidarity for goalie Mike Maignan, who was subjected to racial taunts the previous weekend.

The number 16 jersey wearer, Maignan, endured racist taunts during Milan's 3-2 victory over Udinese on Saturday.

Before play restarted at San Siro, spectators raised their phones in the air and cheered.

A quotation by Martin Luther King stated, "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that," on a screen in the stadium.
