Jannik Sinner beats Daniil Medvedev in final

In the Australian Open final, Jannik Sinner pulled off an incredible comeback to defeat Daniil Medvedev and win the Grand Slam championship he had been promised.

The 22-year-old Sinner of Italy fell behind by two sets but came back to win his first major final, 3-6 3-6 6-4 6-4 6-3.

Medvedev, who also wasted a two-set lead against Rafael Nadal in the 2022 final, suffered again another setback.
