Paris Saint-Germain is targeting an expensive deal

Paris Saint-Germain aims to strengthen its ranks during the current winter Mercato, and has its eye on one of the stars of the English Premier League.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Marca", Brazilian Bruno Guimarães, Newcastle United midfielder, is on Paris Saint-Germain's radar.

She added: “Guimarães will reserve his place in the starting lineup in Paris, despite the signing of Gabriel Moscardo from Corinthians.”

She added: “Bruno’s departure will not be easy, as his contract extends until 2028, and there is a penalty clause in his contract worth 115 million euros.”

Guimarães won the admiration of Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique during the clash between the two teams in the group stage of the Champions League.

Bruno played a key role in Newcastle's 4-1 win over Paris and assisted the second goal. He also played the entire second match at the Parc des Princes Stadium.

Guimaraes joined Newcastle in January 2022 from Olympique Lyonnais, and became a key member of the team under the leadership of coach Eddie Howe.
