Three Harry Byrne penalties see visitors move top

After a fierce derby match at a sodden Thomond Park, where Harry Byrne's three penalties helped Leinster overcome Munster 9–3, the team climbed to the top of the United Rugby Championship table.

Leinster had played with the wind to their advantage, and they led 6-0 at halftime thanks to two early penalties from Byrne.

Leinster's lead was halved by a Jack Crowley kick, but Byrne's third penalty kick with the game's last kick ensured Leinster's win.

With this victory, Leinster now leads Glasgow by three points.
