Kenya: Julius Yego, le javelot dans les veines.

Après s'être essayé au 100m et au cross, c'est finalement au lancer du javelot que Julius Kiplagat Yego s'y met avec ses débuts en 2003. Le natif de Cheptonon va d'ailleurs battre le record junior Kenyan en 2006 avec un jet de 71m et remporté son 1er titre national en 2008. Dès lors, rien n'arrête plus le costaud de 34 ans qui enchaîne des performances. Yego est 4 fois champion d'Afrique, 1 fois champion du monde, une fois médaillé d'argent olympique et 2 fois vainqueur des Jeux Africains.
